Meet Dr. Sanders

Ellen Sanders, M.D. earned a bachelor’s degree in music performance, with honors, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Ophthalmology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Dr. Sanders then joined a private practice in Charlottesville, Virginia, where she practiced for a decade and specializes in medical treatment for patients with dry eye and glaucoma and surgical treatments for patients with cataracts. Dr. Sanders also specializes in the cosmetic injection of neurotoxin, including dysport and botox.

Dr. Sanders has recently moved to Carbondale, CO and enjoys painting, playing violin and hiking, biking and skiing with her husband, three children, and three dogs.

Dr. Sanders is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
