Dr. Dixon was born and raised in Colorado Springs. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiology at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington and went on to earn her Doctorate at Pacific University College of Optometry. Dr. Dixon completed residency training at the Illinois Eye Institute, Chicago Lighthouse, and Spectrois Institute in Chicago, where she specialized in ocular disease and low vision rehabilitation.
Dr. Dixon’s day to day responsibilities include managing patients before and after surgery, coordinating care with specialists, and treating ocular diseases. As a low vision and ocular disease specialist, she prides herself on helping patients overcome any challenges they face in their day-to-day life from their eye condition.
