Dr. Ryan Gerbing

Ryan Gerbing, O.D. attended Eastern Washington University for his undergraduate education and earned his Doctorate of Optometry at Pacific University in Oregon. During his schooling, Dr. Gerbing completed multicultural externships in Germany, Tennessee, Washington, and Colorado with an emphasis on primary care optometry, ocular disease, and surgical co-management. Dr. Gerbing also holds membership in the American Optometric Association.  

Dr. Gerbing was raised in the Pacific Northwest, specifically, Spokane, Washington. When he was six years old, he went to the optometrist and was prescribed corrective lenses, which changed his life. Homeschooling increased his love for science and math as he desired to pursue a career in optometry to share the joy of clear sight with his community. Dr. Gerbing chose the Grand Junction area for its vast outdoor resources, including hiking, skiing, and camping. Additional interests include wildlife photography, playing piano, bass guitar, ukulele and recording original music.
