Meet Dr. Fox

James Fox, M.D. serves as the Western Region Medical Director of ICON Eyecare. Dr. Fox specializes in both medical and surgical treatments for patients with cataracts, glaucoma, intraocular lens complications, trauma, and those who might benefit from refractive surgery.

Dr. Fox is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and received his fellowship training in Glaucoma and Advanced Anterior Segment Surgery at the University of Toronto under the guidance of world-renowned surgeon Dr. Ike Ahmed. Clinical passions of Dr. Fox’s include education and domestic/international charitable work. Most notably, Dr. Fox is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.

Dr. Fox lives in Grand Junction and enjoys skiing and hiking with his wife and young daughters.
