ICON Eyecare offers aesthetic treatments to help you look as good as you feel
Aesthetic or cosmetic treatments are non-surgical procedures intended to refresh and rejuvenate skin, combatting signs of aging and improving the look and texture of the skin. ICON Eyecare in Aspen Valley offers numerous aesthetic treatments by trained surgeons and certified estheticians. The skin around the eye is very sensitive and you shouldn’t trust just anyone with your most precious skin.
ICON Eyecare’s Basalt clinic offers non-surgical cosmetic treatments to improve the appearance and texture of the skin around the eye, neck, face. Treatments offered at ICON include Tixel®, DERMAPEN, and Intense Pulse Light Therapy (IPL).
Tixel® is a non-invasive skin resurfacing procedure that uses the direct transfer of thermal (or heat) energy to the skin to to create a matrix of tiny tissue coagulation sites, improving the skin’s texture, tone, and appearance by stimulating collagen production. Tixel® is NOT a laser or a radiofrequency.
Additionally, pairing Tixel® treatment with PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) can accelerate the healing process and stimulate even more powerful regeneration. Tixel® can also help with dry eyes by increasing lubrication and reducing tear evaporation. Tixel offers an option that can be safely used in this delicate area.
The Tixel® is far less painful with significantly less downtime than current laser fractional resurfacing treatments, yet able to deliver equally satisfactory results. This device can be used for ALL skin types. Treatments are tailored to the patients needs, with a range of settings that allow a range of diverse treatment options.
